TIC 454140642: A Compact, Coplanar, Quadruple-lined Quadruple Star System Consisting of Two Eclipsing Binaries

We report the discovery of a compact, coplanar, quadruple-lined, eclipsing quadruple star system from Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite data, TIC 454140642, also known as TYC 0074-01254-1. The target was first detected in Sector 5 with 30-minute cadence full-frame images and then observed 32 2-minute cadence. light curve exhibits two sets primary secondary eclipses periods PA = 13.624 days (binary A) PB 10.393 B). Analysis archival follow-up data shows clear eclipse-timing variations divergent radial velocities, indicating dynamical interactions between binaries confirming that they form gravitationally bound 2 + hierarchy. Aa+Ab binary, Ba+Bb A-B are aligned respect to each other within fraction degree: respective mutual orbital inclinations 025 (A versus B), 037 A-B), 047 (B A-B). has an period 432 days—the second shortest confirmed systems—and eccentricity 0.3.
